Foodie Family Favourites
After a wonderful summer of visits to Southwold, we wanted to share our favourites. There are many more options available in the area however these are firm favourites in our family that are ticked off on most visits.
Fish and Chips
It's not a trip to Southwold without a walk to the harbour where you will find Mrs T's and Sole Bay fish and chips, all cooked fresh. There are benches outside, when the weather is good it's a great place to eat good simple food. Tough to beat that sunset with the biggest fish and chips you have ever eaten!
Great Pub Grub
Loads to choose from, our favourites are, The Lord Nelson, The Sail Loft or The Sole Bay. Great traditional pub grub with options for all the family.
Always worth giving them a call to book a table. The Sole Bay is first come first served.
Pizza
Enzo pizzeria is an experience! Great pizzas served by a slightly eccentric Italian owner, a passionate Fulham fan. Best to book ahead if you are looking to sit in as it's a one man band, he does everything, and we mean everything and so only a couple of tables available each evening!
Sweet Treats and Pastries
It has to be Two Magpies bakery in Southwold, we challenge you to try and finish a meringue! Awesome coffee as well.
